Food was outstanding and I have nothing but wonderful memories from this trip. The hotel was perfect and clean, its location was stunning close to Tram station, excellent service. The staff was polite, provided an early check-in and a late check-out at 11:30. Location: the venue was near to a church which rings bells as of 6 in the morning, the mountains, shops, museums, trams and buses and the main sights.

Noise levels can be disruptive!!! The air conditioning doesn't always cut it during hot periods. Room sizes are ridiculously cramped for anything other than a weekend bag!!! How about updating the tired décor and furnishings!!!

Centrally located with a good view of Place Victor Hugo, this hotel radiates historical charm. The staff greeted me warmly at check-in and were very helpful throughout my stay. I stayed in a superior family room, spacious and equipped with a coffee/tea station and a jacuzzi. There were drawbacks. The bathroom space felt cramped, and while cleanliness was maintained, the décor showed signs of aging and urgently needed an update. Despite these issues, I enjoyed the convenient public transport access, made exploring the city effortless.

The breakfast was lovely and delicious with meat and the option to boil or fry eggs fresh, for instance, the overall atmosphere was family. The location was absolutely perfect and incredible, close to restaurants and bars.

1. The hotel is very central as it is in the name. 2. Very clean. 3. There is discount for parking in the parking garage for guests. And you can park (20 minutes) in front of the hotel for unloading and checking in before parking the car. 4. The hotel is ecologically oriented :). 5. Staff is very nice and always helpful. 6. Our little dog felt comfortable too. 7. In general, Grenoble is a good starting point to discover the surrounding area.
1. The breakfast was generally okay, you can find something for every taste if you stay there for a day or two. The selection would not be enough for other days. Would be cool if something changed at least a little bit from day to day, e.g. instead of one of the dried apricots, plums & figs, sometimes the dates, instead of sweet crunchy muesli sometimes oatmeal or fruit muesli, etc. On our 6th day we wanted to eat somewhere else. 2. The rooms are a little small. When walking through, you have to be careful if you are used to wider corridors :)

We only stayed for one night, hotel loved it. It is beautifully located - in the heart of Grenoble. Room has everything you need. Comfortable bed, pillows. delicious breakfast. At breakfast among other things were offered walnuts (local specialist), so delicious that we could not resist and bought home a net of nuts. Nuts and some other local delicacies are sold directly at the hotel reception.
It's a shame such a great hotel doesn't have its own parking lot. Before I arrived I received a letter from the hotel, where I was offered to stay for 15 minutes just before entering the hotel to check in and move my luggage to my room. We did so and at the reception we received a card for paid parking, with which the hotel has an agreement for a discount on night-time parking. We did not take advantage of this offer, because we could not find this place immediately, so I do not know if the discount is valid (no coupons, etc. hotel does not give any discount). Having traveled around for quite a long time, we found a free place for the night near the hotel. It would be very convenient if the hotel had a service of delivery of guests' cars to the parking lot and back - you give the keys to the reception and go on your own business.

- central location in the heart of Grenoble. - direct connection to tram. - city centre within walking distance. - many shops and shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. - cleanliness in the hotel and the rooms. - very helpful staff at the reception. - classic French breakfast (baguette, bread, cheese, sausage, yoghurt, eggs). - uncomplicated check-in and check-out
- Access to the hotel by car is difficult to reach or you have to drive through roads that are not accessible and ignore traffic signs. - no direct parking possibilities at the hotel, but you can park at reduced rates in a parking garage about 400m away. - Furnishings/furniture somewhat aged (DVD player in the room). - No shower in the bathroom, but only a bathtub, so that getting in and out is difficult, especially for older people. - Elevator is a bit narrow if you have several suitcases with you. - in the city centre of Grenoble there is a lot of construction work going on at the moment (September 2019), so there are a lot of road works and closed roads (navigation systems can sometimes lead you astray)

The room provided a charming view of the surrounding mountains, which really enhanced the experience. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious French toasts among other options. The air conditioning struggled during peak heat was nice. The front desk staff's unhelpfulness was disappointing, especially when a simple request for bathroom access was denied after checkout.

The views from my room, the jacuzzi bath, the speed of the Wi-fi connection, and the room service option.
The meal ordered from room service tasted horrible; and also, there was no instruction on how and when to order breakfast in your room.

It's location in the city centre, well served by public transport. Clean room large enough, being a hotel room. Friendly staff recommended an excellent brasserie, just what we asked for.
